Reception: November 24 1-4 pm
Recognized for his relentless pursuit of time, place & beauty, a camera travels everywhere and anywhere Bill travels. Never merely just “a camera”; an 8 x 10 view camera 200 miles from the nearest Alaskan arctic village, the ten minute exposure in the main isle of Wells Cathedral, even night after night wandering the streets of London with Hasselblad & tripod over his shoulder.
Bill’s mediums of choice remain the silver gelatin and platinum print. Using the natural divisions of the Keeble & Shuchat gallery, “AnyPlace, AnyWhere & AnyTime” presents three distinct and unique photographic projects. On the gallery main wall are “Wild Rivers” & “Wilderness”. The “Wilderness” images are selections from his 2006 show, “Yosemite in Platinum”. While the “Wild Rivers” are prints for a new book project, Along the Wild Rivers. Across the room hang powerful images from his 2007 show and book, USS Nimitz: Tiger Cruise. In the hall is a UK architectural showing, some new, some from “London Nightscapes”.
